About Martin
Landscape Designer
Description:
Having 7 years education and 5 years work experience in architecture and landscape architecture, I am prepared to re-design your whole property, or perhaps design a small garden, or even give a quick face-lift to your front yard. I do schematic design through construction drawings, and can work with your contractor through the construction process, or guide the homeowner in more of a DIY fashion. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

Martin is fantastic. Our front yard now has nice curb appeal thanks to Martin's work.
Design: he sends detailed plant information along with graphic design layout to illustrate how the new design may look at for my yard.
Selection of plants: not only does he suggest plants that fit my yard (sun/shade), my preference (color/blooming season) but also, he personally came and handpicked the final plants with me.
Not expected?
For my passion in Peonies, Martin even found a local peony farm near my house and drove to the farm through a windy road with me to select the flower.
As a person: Martin is very easy going, warm and fun to talk to. Two thumbs up.

Martin produced a professional landscaping plan for a 100% landscape remodel for my front, back and 2 side yards. He worked closely with me to incorporate all of my needs/desires into a final plan including softscape, hardscape, lighting, irrigation, a planting schedule, and more all within my budget and timeline. I was absolutely pleased with the level of creativity, design expertise, and knowledge of each plant that Martin provided. The process from idea to final plan was smooth, seamless, and efficient. Martin isn't done yet. We'll be working together to ensure that the plan is executed based on his professional plan. I would highly recommend Martin and Calaveras Landscape Design!
